Outdoor Shots
These 15 negatives appear to come from two rolls shot on different occasions. Quite a few of them show a rider on a horse crossing the river (Macleay River near Kempsey?) together with his dogs. The river is fairly deep, so the dogs had to swim to follow their master and his horse. The second series depicts some outdoor activities, a picnic, hunting or both. It was a bit unusual to see a lady in shorts in one of the pictures, but apparently ladies started wearing them as early as 1930s for sports and outdoor, so this should not be unusual at late 1940s and 1950s when the image was presumably taken.
